Swimming

Since 1968, swimming has been part

of the Special Olympics World Games.

 

There are 4 different strokes in swimming.

For example, the athletes swim on their front or on their back.

 

The athletes swim different distances.

For example, 50 metres or 1.5 kilometres.

Which athlete reaches the finish line first wins the race.

 

How many people do swimming at the World Games?

475 athletes.
