Join the Movement

From 17 to 25 June 2023, the Special Olympics World Games will take place in Berlin – the first time that Germany will host the Games! Thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities will compete together in 26 sports. Nine days of exciting and inspiring competitions, by athletes and for athletes. Media Team Members will assist the accredited media and broadcasters with their enquiries and provide excellent customer services to help them report on Berlin 2023. Media Volunteer

As Media Volunteer you are contact person for accredited media. You support the smooth operation of all media areas, mixed zones, accreditation and press conferences.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Broadcast Volunteer

You will assist accredited broadcasters and support the high-quality TV production of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.

Editor Volunteer

Be part of our editorial team. You write and send out short news, collect quotes from athletes and cover press conferences and other events.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Photo Volunteer

You will support our photographers in capturing emotional and inspirational moments. Adding meta data and distributing photos are part of the tasks.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
The photo shows the German soccer team. It is celebrated by the fans and greets them with a handshake.
