Global Forum for Inclusion (GF)

With the Global Forum for Inclusion, we are implementing an innovative, inclusive and interdisciplinary conference format as part of the Special Olympics World Games, which has its roots in the goals of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD): The "full participation and inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities in society."

The Global Forum will take place for the first time at the World Games and will enable a direct exchange between participants and government representatives from around the world, leading economists, international academics and researchers, as well as representatives of civil society and international NGOs.

During the Global Forum for Inclusion, the "Berlin Declaration" is presented. It contains general demands on the topic of inclusion and how it can be improved internationally. Anyone who feels that these points are worthy of support can digitally sign the Declaration here. The full text of the Berlin Declaration can be viewed and, if desired, downloaded here.

The graphic consists of the World Games logo and additional text with "Global Forum For Inclusion".
