Badminton

Since 1995, badminton has been part

of the Special Olympics World Games.

How to play badminton:

Badminton is played on an indoor court.

There is a net in the middle of the court.

2 or 4 players play against each other.

The players use rackets.

The players use the rackets to hit a shuttlecock over the net.

Do the players make mistakes?

For example, the shuttlecock falls on the ground.

Then the other team gets a point.

How to win the match?

The first team to get 21 points,

wins the match.

Important

The other team cannot have more than 19 points.

If this happens,

the match goes in the overtime.

This means:

The teams play until

one team has 2 points more than the other.
