Deadlift, squat, and bench press: these are the three disciplines of Special Olympics powerlifting. For this, athletes need strength, endurance, and determination. The goal is to lift more weights than the opponent.
 

We have three Competitions:

  1. Bench Press
  2. Combined Bench Press and Deadlift
  3. Combined Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift

By the way:

In 1980, the first women's powerlifting competition was held in Lowell, Massachusetts.
