Table tennis is a fast-paced sport that requires excellent hand-eye coordination. The aim is to pass the ball over the net to the opponent's side of the table. This sport requires a mix of force and ability.

 
Special Olympics feature:

Apart from the traditional events, Special Olympics table tennis includes individual skill events that allow athletes to work and compete in basic skills of table tennis. These skills include bouncing the ball with the bat, volleying the ball, and backhanding the ball.

 
We have four competitions:

  1. Singles
  2. Doubles
  3. Unified Sports Doubles
  4. Mixed Unified Sports Doubles

By the way:

Table tennis is not only a popular high-performance sport, but also at social events because it can be played by everyone, no matter their age or ability.

Table tennis takes place on the grounds of Messe Berlin in Hall 2.2.
