A wide-ranging and diverse program awaits you at the Special Olympics Festival Highlight Events at Brandenburger Tor – Berlin's most famous landmark, right in the middle of the city.

Familiensportfest
On 18 June 2023, everyone will have the opportunity to try out various sports in a playful way and free of charge at the Familiensportfest (family sports festival). The end of the day will be celebrated with a diverse and inclusive program on stage.

Fête de la Musique
On 21 June 2023, the Fête de la Musique will take place all over Berlin and we are happy that there will also be a cooperation on our stage at Brandenburger Tor. An inclusive music program will be offered in front of a spectacular backdrop.

In addition to the competitions and our various sports, there should of course be no shortage of celebrations. That is why we invite all athletes and volunteers to come together on 22 June 2023 to dance and celebrate.

Familiensportfest (Family Sports Festival)
We are very happy to transform the center of Berlin into a place of encounters and to give visitors the opportunity to get to know inclusive sports and local sports clubs.
The Familiensportfest is an event in cooperation with the Landessportbund Berlin (Berlin Sports Federation) with the aim to encourage Berliners to be active and experience the whole range of sports through participatory activities. In addition to the sportive activities, visitors can experience the official cycling competitions right next to Brandenburger Tor.
The end of the day will be celebrated with a diverse and inclusive program on the stage at the Brandenburger Tor.

Our Concert Evening
Are you ready for an unforgettable live music experience? Then come to our Concert Evening on 19 June as part of the Kultursommer 2023. Directly at the Brandenburg Gate, a diverse musical stage program awaits you, bringing together inclusive and non-inclusive musicians to perform music at the highest level.
Here, the diversity and beauty of music is celebrated and boundaries that often exist between art and inclusion are overcome. Experience this unique event and enjoy music in a thrilling atmosphere.

Fête de la Musique
On Wednesday, 21 June 2023, the big stage will be handed over to music: Through the cooperation with Fête de la Musique, we want to strengthen and expand inclusion in the cultural field and celebrate the beginning of summer together in a great atmosphere.
You can expect a diverse and inclusive program with many musicians on our stage. We invite you to sing along, dance and enjoy – let us celebrate inclusion, music and the beginning of summer together!

Athletes‘ Party – celebration of inclusion
After the sporting competitions, it is time for athletes and volunteers to celebrate together! In front of the impressive backdrop of the Brandenburger Tor, DJs will heat up the atmosphere and encourage dancing.
We cordially invite all athletes and volunteers to come and celebrate together. What a great opportunity for a great evening among friends with live music and the best atmosphere.
Important: The Athletes' Party is an internal event. Admission is limited to athletes and volunteers. There will be no ticket sales and weekly tickets do not entitle to entry.
