The time has come: The allocation of the delegations to the respective Host Town is fixed! The host communities of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 are looking forward to welcoming their international guests.

The exchange can start, and the rapprochement can take place: Host Towns and the delegations of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 are finally assigned.

The communities now know which delegation they will welcome from 12 to 15 June 2023, and how many members of the delegation they can expect. The international guests, in turn, find out which region of Germany they will be traveling to ahead of the 2023 World Games competitions.

Host Town Program: #InclusiveTogether

"The most important thing is sustainability, that inclusion stays in the communities after the World Games." Mark Solomeyer, athlete spokesperson and vice president of Special Olympics Germany (SOD), sums it up. Germany is changing. Inclusion is becoming an inspiration beyond the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.

As the largest municipal inclusion project in the history of the Federal Republic, the Host Town Program plays a key role in shaping inclusive living spaces and the social participation of people with intellectual disabilities.

The multitude of inclusive projects will shape an open, diverse society far beyond the 2023 World Games. They will create a new togetherness and open the space for encounters.

The graphic includes a heart that reads "It's a match!" and the hashtags #InclusiveTogether as well as #UnbeatableTogether.

With the allocation, the first phase of the relationship is now beginning: Host Towns and delegations are establishing contacts, and the design of the program before the competitions in Berlin is being coordinated.

Host Towns in all German states and delegations from all parts of the world are looking forward to exciting four days in June 2023. Friendships will be made and opportunities will arise to shape an inclusive society.
