Cheuk In Wai from Hong Kong is the first gold medal winner at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 in the rhythmic gymnastics all-around competition. The delegation from Special Olympics Germany also got off to a successful start at the Games.

Especially for the younger visitors there is a lot to discover and try out at Messe Berlin and the Neptunbrunnen – but people of all ages are welcome here.

The youngest participant of the Games is called Valery

We are pleased to introduce a special participant of the Games: Valery Vera, 12 years old, is the youngest athlete of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, comes from Paraguay and competes in gymnastics-rhythmic. We met her and talked to her about her passion.
