Premiere in Germany: A media alliance of ARD, BILD, DAZN, Deutsche Telekom AG, Meta, Prime Video, ProSiebenSat1 Media SE, RTL, sky, Sport1 and ZDF will jointly report about the Games in line with the motto #UnbeatableTogether.

What an honor: Special Olympics athletes Heidi Kuder, Natascha Wermelskirchen and Tamara Röske are featured in the June issue of VOGUE Germany, which is available in stores and online from today on.

The time has come: The Flame of Hope™ is lit

The moment has come: The Special Olympics Flame of Hope™ was lit by a high priestess in Athens, Greece, in a solemn ceremony at the historic temple Zappeion Megaron. The flame will now be sent on its journey before arriving at the Opening Ceremony at Olympiastadion on 17 June.

Our Cultural Program has officially started

The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 are more than sports: Our Cultural Program includes over 120 inclusive offers from the Berlin cultural sector. The official opening took place today at the Humboldt Forum.

International delegations arrive in Germany

A warm welcome! Delegations from all over the world are currently arriving not only in Berlin, but at many airports and train stations throughout Germany. All of them are welcomed by their respective host town.

The Host Town Program is in full swing across Germany

Currently, the Host Town Program is taking place all over the country: More than 200 cities and municipal projects welcome the delegations from all over the world. It is the largest municipal inclusion project in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.
